She later joined the staff at Penn State, where she served as the top assistant, recruiting coordinator, and pitching coach. Most recently, she spent five seasons as the head coach at Bucknell University. Across 13 years in Division I coaching, she gained experience in all facets of the game from recruiting & player development to leadership & program culture.

“There is not enough time for me to lay out all the great things I love about the platform,” said Caffrey. “But the tools provided, combined with the people who run this company, made it a very easy decision to transition into the role. Having used it myself, it truly feels like you have an extra member of your staff.”

“We are thrilled to announce Sarah Caffrey as our new Softball Product Owner,” said Derek Weldon, CEO and Co-Founder of 6-4-3 Charts. “With an impressive background as both a player and a coach in college softball, Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and love for the game to our team. Now, as Product Owner, she’s excited to help other coaches streamline their workflows and maximize the value of the 6-4-3 platform. Caffrey is especially excited about 6-4-3’s new transfer portal feature which was built to streamline recruiting workflows right within the 643 platform.
